Innovations in Creative and Cultural Enterprise
Innovation in Creative and Cultural Enterprise (ICCE) is a project that focuses on creating an industry-ready workforce through training and youth employment opportunities for care experienced young people.
ICCE is designed to deepen and enrichen the talent pool and support a development that results in a sector that is more diverse, representative and resilient.
We support care experienced young people by providing one to one coaching, enabling them to think of and prepare for training or a career in the creative industries. We offer a bespoke and flexible vocational training model that encourages creative and cultural enterprise and supports care experienced young Scots into education, employment or training in the sector.
The ICCE pilot has had amazing success in supporting young people to secure positive destinations.
It was supported by the People's Postcode Lottery and Glasgow Chamber of Commerce.
ICCE is now supported by the Bailie Gifford Community Awards from 2020 to 2023. It a referral programme for care experienced young people interested in preparing for a training in the creative industries.
