#STARTWITHARTS
Join the Campaign
The Articulate Creative Changemakers are dedicated to enabling care experienced children and young people through their innate creativity and love of the arts.
They are campaigning to embed the arts, creativity and culture into children's planning systems, ensuring every young person impacted by care in Scotland has access to the arts and our amazing national cultural resources.
They believe this isn't a luxury but a right, one that is now enshrined in Scots law through the 2024 adoption by parliament of the UN Convention on The Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
Our campaign is designed to bring attention to the change in the legal framework and to help children, families, teachers, carers, social workers, politicians work out how to make the change happen ...
"It is a right, like food is. If you're cut off from creativity how can you explore how you're feeling?"

#STARTWITHARTS champions the rights of care experienced children and young people to engage freely in the arts and culture, as legitimised by the UNCRC in Article 31.
To support the campaign, you can participate in workshops, advocate for policy change, share stories and educate others on the importance of every child's access to creative expression.
