Since 2017, Articulate has supported creative learning activity in residential houses for care experienced young people to increase their access to and skills in the arts as well as to improve their wider life choices and chances by exploring their innate creativity through the visual arts.

Start with Art provides:

  • staff training and ongoing support

  • creative workshops and activity sheets that are simple and effective to achieve

  • stimulating ideas from well-known artists and crafts-people across Scotland

  • imaginative twists on traditional creative themes

The project was originally developed with our Young Advisors and Arts in the City.

We are grateful to the Gordon Fraser Charitable Trust, The WM Mann Foundation, The Stafford Trust, The Grocers' Charity, Glasgow City Council and Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership

'Couldn’t recommend Articulate Cultural Trust more.

The materials we ordered for The Kindness Wave parcels were amazing!

Well thought out and designed with love.'
