About the event

ReMade with Care: Eco-metals and Sea Glass Jewellery Workshop Saturday & Sunday,  7th & 8th November September, 10am - 4pm

Join jewellery tutor Jen Stewart of Nmarra Design to learn the basics of traditional jewellery making skills and eco-conscious sourcing of metals and stones. Visit a local jewellery studio to discover different techniques for eco-conscious jewellery making.

Participants will practice basic saw-piercing to create their own design using copper and brass, try punching, hammering and metal patination techniques to create natural colour finishes and seal their pieces ready to wear. We will explore eco-silver and sea glass to create a simple pendant using saw piercing, soldering and bezel stone setting techniques.

This will take place at the Articulate Studio - 125 Saint Vincent Street, Glasgow.
