ReMade with Care: Upcycling Ceramics with decals workshops
Saturdays 3rd & 24th October, 1pm - 5pm
Lead Artist - Ceramic artist Louise McVey brings ceramic upcycling to the Articulate Studio in Glasgow.
Join in across two sessions to explore methods for upcycling ceramics, applying your own drawings and designs. Louise will guide participants through the creative and technical process, exploring decorative ideas and options such as line work and collage to breathe new life and bring unique perspectives to revive old ceramics. Session one will explore the creation of artwork specific to pieces to be upcycled. Louise will then transform your drawings into ceramic decals to be applied in session 2, where final compositions of applied decals will be finished. Pieces will be fired in Louise’s Glasgow Studio, ready to be collected, kept, gifted or sold through Made with Care for the winter season.
