About the event
Track supports care experienced young people to explore and experiment musically and helps them to release their own tunes on Apple Music and Spotify. Track also offers the chance to perform in venues and festivals across Glasgow and Scotland, whilst learning about music production and careers backstage.
Working alongside industry professionals, young people will start by crafting their own lyrics and melodies before adding layers required to record, release, produce or perform.
The program is led by Becci Wallace, Rosie Reid and Jack Broadley.
The course is built around the interests of each young person, and is fully subsidised - snacks and rinks are provided and we can cover travel costs. No prior experience is needed and you'll have access to inspiration, instruments and opportunity. The programme is also accessible online which is important for the participants based in the Borders, in the Western Isles and Orkney.
