Nurturing Talent Fund: New Routes

Articulate is working in partnership with Creative Scotland to distribute grants from their Nurturing Talent Fund. These grants are for young people aged 11 - 25 with experience of care who want to learn, develop and explore creative skills.

You can apply for a grant of up to £750 to develop creative skills you already have, or try something completely new! You can also get matched with a creative mentor who can support and guide you along the way.

We can support applications for all art forms including music, creative writing, jewellery making, drama, fashion, dance, filmmaking, visual art, podcasting, street art, crafts, DJ-ing, design, song writing…or anything else you are interested in!

The funding can be used to buy materials and equipment, get lessons or go on a course, attend an event, put on a performance or gig, organise an exhibition or screening. You can even design your own project to explore your creative ideas.

We welcome applications from anyone, regardless of experience, and can help you with your application.

Please read our New Routes Information Sheet for further information about the fund before applying and scroll down for some top tips.

You can complete and online application, or arrange an informal meeting to talk about your ideas.

Please note, applications for this funding are now closed but if you would like to hear more about other opportunities please contact us on:
