Made with Care is exactly that ... original products that are individual, handmade and bespoke, designed and made by young people with experience of the care system. Their designs, ideas and developments are supported by Articulate and brought to market through pop-ups, trade fares, commissions and online (below).
You can next meet the young folks and see their wonderful creations at our Creative Assembly at the studio on the 25th and 26th of November 2023
Additionally, a Made with Care film crew was commissioned in lockdown by the University of Strathclyde's Widening Access team to create a documentary with staff and students about being Corporate Parents. The Made with Care digital unit will next work with the University of Edinburgh's Social Work department to create an animation that illustrates researchers' findings about the impact of social media on young people during lockdown. And if that isn't enough we are supporting the development of a catering and events crew and a young cleaning service.
